NAME? Simon Crehan

AGE? 42

WHERE DO YOU LIVE? Abingdon, Oxon

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING? I am a Medical Represntative

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN FLYING? Since I was 20

WHAT DO YOU FLY? Paramotors and paragliders

WHAT IS YOUR JOB IN THE TEAM? To score as many points as possible

HAVE YOU ANY PREVIOUS COMPETITION EXPERIENCE? I've competed in 4 UK National championships and was a member of the UK Team at the 2004 European Microlight Championships in Portugal.

WHAT'S THE MOST FUN YOU HAVE HAD FLYING: Doing a mass launch with friends at Model Ridge in the North Yorkshire moors flying over spectacular scenery and landing out at a remote pub for a coke.

WHAT IS THE MOST EXCITING PART OF BEING IN THE BRITISH TEAM 2007? Knowing this year we have the strongest team ever and having the opportunity to fly in an exotic location with the best pilots in the world.

GIVE US SOME DIRT ON ONE OF YOUR PALS IN THE BRITISH TEAM: At the top level small things can make a difference to your performance.

To illustrate this just before economy tasks Michel often appears wearing black skin-tight spandex/Lycra in an effort to minimise wind resistance and to get the best fuel consumption.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU? Nothing really........ Except I'm really chuffed to be a member of the British Paramotor team going to China.
